My girlfriend originally wanted to book all our excursions at the hotel, but I told her to wait before booking everything right away. We did end up booking a few activities there, but what felt a bit uncomfortable was that they asked us to leave a review even before the excursion had started. Since we walk past that representative every day when leaving the hotel, it felt a little pushy. Luckily, before booking the rest of our activities, we found this excursion office nearby. We had an amazing 3-hour boat trip today in Tenerife on the White Dreams, departing from Gate 1 at Puerto Colón. We booked through Spanish Dave Excursions, located across the road from Hotel Best Jacaranda, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The trip included whale and dolphin spotting, swimming and snorkelling with all gear provided, plus food and drinks onboard. We were lucky enough to see a couple of whales, which was a real highlight of the day. One of the best parts was that the boat was limited to just 11 people, and there were only 10 of us onboard, which made the whole experience feel much more personal, relaxed, and enjoyable compared to the larger crowded tours. A huge thank you to Captain Alvaro and our host Maya, who were both absolutely brilliant throughout the trip. The service onboard was excellent — friendly, professional, and extremely accommodating. They made everyone feel welcome and relaxed, and nothing was too much trouble. Had a fantastic time touring the island on a 2 seater scooter, reasonable day rate and hire times. The staff are brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable about the area and local attractions. Have to say, BRILLIANT service by Fiona and Vicki - bang on point with prices (cheaper than direct 😲) and kept us fully informed. Delivered tickets right to our hotel. Booked 2 trips (King Buggy and 3hr Whale trip). Both absolutely brilliant. Thanks so much for the excellent advice from the lovely lady and her Daughter (sorry we didn't get your names). My son and I rented a scooter today from a family-run business. We had it from 10 AM to 6 PM for 35 euros. It was a great experience – the scooter was a lovely machine, probably around 12 months old, with plenty of power for both of us and no issues at all. I especially appreciated that no credit card was required. I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend them!
